ReplyGuy is a spam bot designed to repost content it finds on Nostr. It's a spam attack that several Nostr user were trying to quell with no success thus far (though one of the forks of NoStrudel along with a Nostr relay is mostly spam free).

Zooming out it’s also a curveball for the devs to solve and will in due time.

I imagined reply guy as some sort of bot spying on everyone's messages, by replying and recording everything, big brother in the nostr sky.

It’s a bot that replies to almost all posts with a relay name I guess and just spams your notifications page. You’re probably using nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg like me and that’s why you’re seeing this guy no more. On Damus I still see him. Or maybe it’s a matter of relays. So I’m not sure what the antidote is.
