What's great is it's so much worse than this illustrates.
It's not a scam of both sides agree to the terms, but I do love how stupid this is. I am sure there is even more stupid government rules and regulations behind the reason of the 7% interest rate.
If that was only true.
They don't even need to have the 1000 dollars from the guy. They currently need nothing in order to lend out the 1000 dollars. 🥲
But I'm sure they wouldn't do that, because that's irresponsible, right?
And even if some of them do, they'll just go bankrupt and other banks would learn not to do the same, right?
There's no way -no way- money would get printed to bail out irresponsible banks, rewarding bad behavior.
Right? RIGHT!?
