I think the value of translation is underestimated 🤔

Of course, there are many automatic translation services on the Internet, but it is really great to be able to use your favorite apps and services in your native language without any inconvenience.

Most of the things related to Nostr and Bitcoin are still provided in English, so I would like to make them translated into Japanese and spread to Japanese community more and more.

We rarely use any translating tools in doing so as it lacks a "human touch" to the texts somehow.

Indeed, I comprehend that, and the value of a good translation is great…

I prefer to have things in English, maybe because I grew up with most things I liked in English… not many games were translated to Portuguese… and when it is it is Brazilian Portuguese, which I feel like it also is not for me, hence my preference for English.

But even a pt-br translation is better than nothing for someone who does not speak English.

I believe #bitcoin and #nostr could go a long way toward freeing Iranian of the predicaments they are stuck in. And obviously not everyone can use tools in their original language.

The easier the use the more the adoption. So I keep translating projects for as long as I can. I wish I knew more than just English.

Language based hashtag or language based filter would be good. But we don't have any well-known Korean hashtag yet.

By the way, it can be applied on #nostr protocol level, IMO.
