I only did that because Primal banned good morning notes from trending. When I altered my G, all of my GM notes trended.
And the only reason I didn't do a special G this morning was because I posted that from Notedeck and I don't have that character saved there 🥹

Primal nerfs the GM notes?
Yes. They did for a very long time. I'm not sure if they still do as I haven't looked into it in a long while. They didn't want people's "low effort" GM notes from trending and specially banned GM and "good morning" from trending. My good morning notes almost always added more context and a positive call to action. So, I wasn't overly impressed and I altered my good morning to Ԍood morning. The special G was all that it took to get past their filter. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

yes their ux is great, and yes they fuck with your feed. these things are almost always fellow travellers for some haunted damn reason.
Primal is a great client to be honest. they have their own vision and that's okay.

As a current primal user, I had no idea, it’s a hidden thing, like inflation 😄. Content manipulation is Nostr client inflation.

Reminds me of early Flickr and early Twitter. Flickr used to go down around 5 pm Pacific every day. Remember the Twitter fail whale? This is what made them interesting for a certain type of user. Then Flickr sold to Yahoo!, Twitter got VC. Both became slick and polished, which attracted the normies and marketers and politicians. Which ruined them.
You wish the same for nostr? I don't.
