I wouldn't....I've worked in the hotel business for 16 years. In my experience the amount of crazy that shows up in the Manager on Duty reports mostly happens in the hot tubs. I would bet the shenanigans that happens at an Airbnb hot tub is 5x since it's semi private. The amount of chemicals needed to sterilize it would make it not worth it in my book

Yes. But I've never owned or operated one made of wood and heated by an actual fire...those might be an acception.

Yes. Absolutely. Once you turn it on you can never turn it off, such a waste for occasional use. The only good reason I've seen to have them is older people with arthritis that use them daily.
Of course, if you can heat the water with bitcoin miners, the equation changes.
Wood fired hot tubs are fun if you can fill from a lake. Its more work but you don't need to keep them always running.
Ive never been a fan of sitting in chlorine water.
I heard they cause subcutaneous fat development, could be a rumor. Maybe it's a rumor. IR saunas with incandescent lamps/IR heaters are far better IMO.
