Well paint me low brow 😂

Working on our farm I value being able to print out planting guides or animal husbandry info to take out into the gardens and paddocks.

My main purpose for changing was the privacy aspect and also because I value FOSS and believe that outside of the walled garden things can be build in a more innovative and interesting way.

This has been on my to do list for a long time but I’m not technically minded so it was a daunting task. I’m proud of myself for making the change and want to encourage others to do the same.

yeah that's what tablets are for. a tablet costs about the same as a printer, but doesn't waste paper and toner and can also be used for other things than just displaying a static image.

granted, tablets designed for harsh environments ( like on a farm ) are more expensive than consumer grade ones meant to be used mostly indoors.

congratulations on your technical accomplishment of migrating to Linux and hope your continue to progress towards being more technically minded in the future.
