i find it odd to *log in* using someone else's npub. it feels intrusive in some weird way.

i do not believe you can see dm's or notifications. it might be the same things you'll see on nostr.band.

DM no, notifications yes.

It's an interesting way to get insight into how other people view the world through Nostr, and a good was to find new follows too.

are there any clients that would allow me to do that? so far, they only require nsecs or signers.

Amethyst can do it. Just add a new account and enter the npub you want to view.
