That’s what I don’t understand. This flotilla is not going to do any results it’s essentially just a PR stunt and for people to the flag that they support Palestine. The clear actions should be to have warrants for Netanyahu and the upper echelons and trial them at The Hague and severe sanctions on Israel. But all the entities with actual power are just turning a blind eye and condemning with speeches. And some peopleof political organizations instead of pushing for the harsh measures go on a PR flotilla …
PR for what? Supporting Palestine has been a losing game. People lose everything speaking out against Israel.
At least they are doing something. Maybe it will. Maybe humanity will prevail. At least they are trying to something even with the little resources that have. The rest of us just sit here and continue to pay our taxes to governments supporting this genocide.
As you mentioned, this is all for virtue signaling and fooling the leftwingers, whih are the same who took three "vaccines" without asking about the consequences. Same thing here, they will feel all good with themselves while the native population gets wiped out.

It's amazing how critical people on Nostr can be of people trying to fight against genocide beyond borders and government. I fear point has been lost.
Can't be called fighting when it impacts exactly zero. Just gives you a sense of "feeling good" as this genocide continues to take place, undisturbed by social messages and luxury yachts aiming to throw some bread (which they'll fail achieving anyways).

These people and this whole organization is endangering its participants, and even supporters, lives by using these kind of social media for their communication.

It's not a secret effort. This is just the biggest one yet. They are very publicly doing this and hope that global support will keep them safe. They know they are risking their lives.
It's not about the operation itself. Fighting global fascism requires to protect the identities of the resistants.
Think about what is already happening in the US, with people being denied just for having shared a meme. That is nothing compared to the potential societal shadow banning that could be inflicted to resistants who weren't careful enough with their digital profile.
