Make a bootable drive on usb with the OS with An Etcher program, then Yea boot from Bios, and then launch from usb drive,, then partition or wipe, and afternthat off to the races!

I think it depends on where you are asking for help. On this platform it’s still too glitchy to have many well thought out discussions. I got most mod my help through the stackchainers that formed a lightning telegram group. Would you be interested in getting added? Lots of big brains in there? #[2] can you add him if he wants to?

Setup fails every time
Do it differently. Try Mint. If you're partitioning, try a VM instead. If you're doing VM, try partitioning. Buy a $100 laptop from eBay and experiment with that instead. Bypass what was wrong.
Only a small amount of people can even help with that, so many just don't know either
The problem will be so specific you'd need to be there.
