that's because it's still early, and the fiat system is still dominant and has some of the most intelligent people working on the fiat system.

Bitcoin was the same in the early days, no exchanges, no Bitcoin credit cards etc.

at the beginning, everyone was saying Bitcoin is too slow and it's too difficult to get the normies to join, It takes times to improve a technology, exactly like cars & Facebook, those 2 couldn't handle the world but over time, more people joined the movement to improve cara and Facebook and now the world uses them.

Bitcoin, lightning and nostr is the same. Its being improved everyday and eventually it will be much easier for the normies and the world will join.

Don't lose hope. Bitcoin & nostr is the future. Nothing else.

But it's good you are researching other things so maybe you can take that knowledge and bring it back into Bitcoin and nostr. I might try to check out this cashu stuff too, or wait for your thesis on what you investigated.
