Police enforcement relays. They hunt for notes to build a case against you. You don't subscribe to them ; they subscribe to you. Is this realistic?
If your notes are public, why not.
The trick is to link the npub to the actual person.
That's why I didn't even get on nostr until I had grapheneos and a bit of confidence in using Tor. What does the turtle emoji mean? I know I'm slow, sheesh...
Doesn't mean anything. It's just a turtle.
Being anonymous and using encryption gets you a lot of the way to privacy. Tor is an added bonus. VPNs are a must.
