I’ve never been inclined to try different diets or extreme diets. My preferred diet probably most resembles a Mediterranean diet though with more red meat. The older I get the less I like or tolerate sugar and too many grains. I am however intrigued by people’s experiences to go to extremes and their experiences thereof.

Eating healthier overall plus at least some exercise is better than just about any fad diet.

Sugar is poison. For various reasons I’ve now had to go gluten and dairy free, which isn’t ideal. But sugar is easy for me to avoid.

I’ve just started this:

4th day now, I am going thru carb withdrawal since my diet since the start of this year has been extremely unhealthy🤣🤣🤣

Interesting. I’ll check this out.

Seems to be very good but it’s all anecdotal evidence so I’m giving it a go myself!

For sure. That’s what I got from the website. Hey it doesn’t hurt to have a good diet and know what bothers you. I believe the stomach is what feeds the brain. Make it good for ya

I’ve tried a lot of different diets and after all my opinion is - they are not good , not for me at least, I am not happy when I constraint myself to 2 or 3 products , I like diversity and good food regardless of whether this is protein , fat or carbs. It took some time for me to understand that my weight is directly correlated to my mental health though. So I’m in my best shape when I feel in control of my life, have a job that fulfils but not kills me , surrounded by ppl I like and respect etc :) Then somehow Im again at my high school weight without being on any type of a diet . What a miracle ? So yes, I guess this is my trick - 😜- is this an extreme diet? Dunno. but to get to a good place in a life is prob much harder than just to trick your body into losing weight by eating in an unnatural (imo) way. Having said that obv it’s always a good thing to respect your body at least as you respect your car and eat healthy and balanced food.

The best diet: go outdoors, walk, and get off the social media for at least an hour a day. I can’t believe how extreme people seem to think that is.
