If Im being honest, gross name calling from easily-generated fresh npubs causes a gut reaction in me of seeing the value of censorship on some level...
How does #nostr grow if this is so easily done? Whats to stop nostr from degrading into users having to endlessly block trolls/ads (like I used to have to do when I used Twitter)...when every idiot can get a free shot with every new npub?

I feel like it’s a small price to pay. These people aren’t targeting one user individually so it’s not personal or true, it’s just poorly directed attention-seeking. I just laughed, muted, and carried on my day unbothered. The opposite of what that comment intended.

I guess my worry is that as nostr grows, there is a potential for every post to get "ratio'd" with stupid notes...I guess thats where paid relays come into play...
