I have a suspicion that the impersonator problem on nostr is gonna get very real soon.
What thinking is out there on it in terms of solutions? To be future proof i guess it has to consider bots trained on previous public posts.
Nostr.directory goes some way into this obviously tied to Twitter. I see some crowdsourcing possibilities.

This is where badges will be useful, since they can only be tied to a specific npub.

Verify behind your own domain and become your own brand. Same goes with projects and businesses you may own.
Def would help. I guess for those who have a known domain/brand that peoplecabn verify by recognition. Like saylor verifying by microstrategies page would be a pretty strong verification.
