Subnostr

I have a suspicion that the impersonator problem on nostr is gonna get very real soon.

What thinking is out there on it in terms of solutions? To be future proof i guess it has to consider bots trained on previous public posts.

Nostr.directory goes some way into this obviously tied to Twitter. I see some crowdsourcing possibilities.

Anyone else got any thoughts??

This is where badges will be useful, since they can only be tied to a specific npub.

But how do badges stop/limit impersonators? Not sure I get that bit

Won’t stop them per se but it will help them get filtered out as impersonators. #[4] what’s your take on this?

I would imagine will is prob swept up in the damn megathread we are all in. Notifications destroyed. Ruins the intimacy that was here before.
