Y’all gotta chill so we can let this thing grow. I understand Bitcoin is the way but we can’t be scaring the new peeps. Remember, you don’t have to respect people opinions but you will respect their choices just like you would like yours.

hateful content and porn spammers will get here before the masses and that will scare them off more than a bunch of weirdos taking about magic internet money.

most people are not ready to be self sovereign in their social media just like they're not ready to be self sovereign with their money.

having control over your own money/body/land/property/social media is a really great thing but it means that you gotta take care of the nasty yourself and be responsible for creating what you want. Not everyone has the grit to do that.

This is a great point.

Bitcoin helps keep nostr working so it is no wonder most conversation surrounds it. It can be argued that zaps are the best way to filter content since the dawn of the internet. Bitcoin helps make for better nostr content and nostr helps bitcoiners learn to use their own tools better from deliberate practice
