1. Define ok

2. I wouldn't worry too much about the world we live in, just the world I live in.

How about the world we are going to live in?

Only worried about what I can do. If it's not enough, then it's out of my hands and not worth worrying about.

it's also supposed to be read with more emphasis on the *chance*. we have a choice to take that chance or not

I think it's impossible to have a completely meaningless day, though I guess that depends on you definition of meaning. Even if you stay in bed all day that has a meaningful impact on yourself.

I have felt some pretty extreme nihilism in the past and it can be very depressing, but it can also be very freeing with just a slight change of perspective. If nothing really matters, why worry about it?

Sorry if I read too much into this. It sounded like a depression post.

most of what I post is satirical

lots shouldn't be taken seriously

I just think words sound neat in certain orders

There's a kernal of truth behind every joke 😉

you are right

MDD is something I have struggled with for several years

three steps forward

two steps to the left

one backwards

Depression sucks, I had it bad most my life. Only recently started feeling like a normal person, but still get it sometimes. This last winter was pretty rough if I'm being honest. Hang in there Tybbs.

thank you my friend. likewise. always here if ya need me

“Good enough is good enough.”

I heard that phrase a year or two ago and honestly it changed my life. It’s a “glass half full” way of looking at the world.

Don’t worry about the world. Worry about your place in it. And just shoot for “good enough”, not perfection.
