Any suggestions on easy ways to scrape these MP3 files from that site? They are all listed and fairly well named, ordered and so on.

The most difficult part will be the scraping I'd think

If you just want to time the publishing according to your own schedule (when you have time to listen and respond to comments, for example), you could just set up automation and click it when you want the next one, rather than on a set schedule.

I wouldn't even know how to do that. It's fine, it's just going to be irregular ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ (I deliberately didn't say any set period for completion in bio). If it stops it stops. It's mostly just an idea.

Maybe there is a nostr client out there that lets you schedule posts in a very simple way(? #asknostr)

We like your idea, that's why we all jumped into the thread. Let us think about it a bit more and get back to you. This could actually be kinda cool and customizable.

Create your own Bible study, (or any book study), including media files and scheduling preferences and different book editions, and stuff. One person just has to upload in a modular fashion one time and everyone after that can mix and match or even have random selections or setup according to popular patterns (chronological, liturgical, or book of common prayer, etc.)

That's the sort of personalized, organic, evolving mess that Nostr is well-suited for. And you could offer it to groups or communities, to form a book club.

Hold that thought.

Oh yeah that's what I was thinking of!

I think RSS feed integration would fundamentally offer the solution to the use case you're defining. I'm sure existing RSS tools would cover scheduling and posting, so Nostr just needs a way to blast out notifications from RSS feeds.
