In my experience #nostrudel will attempt to auth to my auth relays before Alby is unlocked and ready to sign. Once I unlock alby, it doesn't attempt to re-auth automatically and I have to manually retry. Just an observation, no clue if this is already known or an accurate description of what's happening ha

Any request to sign events should trigger the unlock prompt (noStrudel can't know whether your extension is unlocked or not).

What are the implications of this behavior? You don't see events from relays that require auth?

yea basically goes like this (I think).

1) open browser, open nostrudel

2) nostrudel attempt to auth, triggering the unlock prompt from Alby

3) I unlock alby, but then nostrudel doesn't attempt a re-auth until I open the task manager and manually check the auth next to the previously failed relays

4) once I manually re-auth, I see my feed update

So if I unlock Alby, but then forget to manually trigger a re-auth, my feed is stale or partially stale I guess.
