Those are small green ones with pods that grow above ground, right? I'm told that they add nitrogen to the soil.

If you look at the center of the pic, you can see where our kitchen compost was added to this mound.
We planted potatoes elsewhere, but these volunteers came up first, hiding amongst to peas.
