Those who eat of the tree and who's names are in the Lamb's book of life (people who have a relationship with Him through Jesus and the Holy Spirit and faith) have eternal life with Him for all of eternity. Sorry, apparently I wasn't clear. I meant I don't believe all people are inherently eternal beings, it must be given by God. All else perish.

I am watching that video right now btw. So you believe those who are saved live forever but the ones who are not are destroyed, meaning blotted out forever. I think I understand you now. Seems you have had a long journey. My journey started when I was 18 but don't believe I was really saved until decades later. I had lots of confusion because I could not even read the bible without misinterpreting it. In fact everything I read was like this. I was so grateful when I could read the bible and understand it.
Like I said I have a lot to learn so it is nice to hear different points of view. I think it was awesome we could talk and not argue. So many have to argue if they don't agree with one another.
All I can say at this point is I hope you are right that people who are not saved are simply blotted out, but even that is a super scary thing to me. It was actually something I was terrified of when I did not have a true belief in God.
I am watching this right now but having trouble paying enough attention to it. I will watch it again and pass it on to my retired pastor friend as well.
I haven't watched that video in at least 12 months so I'm watching it again too. Fudge explains everything better than I can but I'm surprised that I remember as much as I do.
It sounds to me like you need to pray for God's spirit to be with you when you read your Bible and when you watch Fudge. I can see your passion for Him and for introducing other people to Him. If I can see it then God can too, so He will definitely answer that prayer. Jesus died and as He rose the temple curtain split so everyone could see into the part where only the high priest could go and only once a year. The implication is that those who have repented and been baptised have direct access to God's presence. If you haven't been baptised do it soon in obedience to Jesus and the scriptures. Even if you haven't yet, God won't turn you away if you are earnestly seeking Him in scriptures. Jesus says that he who seeks will find because God is a good Father who faithfully gives good gifts. God bless you.
