where does Buddhism borrow Christ?

They try to say that Christ realized (in both senses) what Buddhism teaches, that Buddhism is really what Christ modeled and what he taught--"he achieved a higher consciousness that we too can attain; he realized he was really God, and so can we."

It's just another form of gnosticism, which Scripture and the church have soundly rejected from the outset. Genesis 1 does not allow for a gnostic worldview without simply rejecting it.

Have you ever read Rene Guenon ?

Crisis of the Modern World ?

No, haven't heard of it. Good?

an absolute must read imo...

also imo, hyper-relevant to something you said the other day about needing to counter the "arguments" of the progressive modern.

Guenon's work is a real gift to Tradition the world over... an entirely lucid takedown of the modern cosmology, framing all the things properly and exposing their errors at root...

Others in the Traditionalist school also worth checking in on , as a matter of intellectual defense against the spirit of antichrist:

Ananda Coomaraswamy

Frithjof Schuon

Julius Evola

Appreciate this.
