I guess Buddhism and gnosticism can't stand on their own merits. They have to borrow Christ for their cause. Smh.

where does Buddhism borrow Christ?
They try to say that Christ realized (in both senses) what Buddhism teaches, that Buddhism is really what Christ modeled and what he taught--"he achieved a higher consciousness that we too can attain; he realized he was really God, and so can we."
It's just another form of gnosticism, which Scripture and the church have soundly rejected from the outset. Genesis 1 does not allow for a gnostic worldview without simply rejecting it.
