This is pretty lit....

Now I'm curious....

I'm honestly excited to buy lunch with it again tomorrow. It's a familiar experience using a card with NFC, but this is Bitcoin. 😱😱😱

That’s actually pretty cool. I have never made a Lightning purchase.

Lightning is great. We just need more vendors to accept it. Every vendor over here is using a terminal like the one you see that is essentially just an Android phone viewing a web page of a BTCPay server. It's honestly just as easy as setting up a regular merchant account and credit card.

That’s actually pretty easy. And a month ago I asked nostr:npub1rxysxnjkhrmqd3ey73dp9n5y5yvyzcs64acc9g0k2epcpwwyya4spvhnp8 about the NFC part, technically any NFC would work exactly like the card you have. They sell them dirt cheap on Amazon. I have a bag of these. You can color them Orange, put a Bitcoin logo on it and you got your self Bitcoin-coins?

Where did you end up getting this particular card?

From the Baltic Honeybadger Conference.

Sick!

Vendor must accept lightning first. Still lots of vendors to orange pill.

Bevo, did you see my note earlier today about using BTCPay server to automatically convert the Lightning to USDt? That way they only need to think of it as just another payment method and they can still pay their suppliers in USD if they need to do that.

Ah the catch

What was your highlight from day 1?

Meeting so many awesome people for the first time. I love networking with fellow Bitcoiners and Nostriches.

Awesome! Is there free coffee from Bittr like last year?

Does the payment processor do all the work on their end to facilitate the lightning to debit card network? πŸ€”

It's just LNURL-w.
