Highly recommend
One of my faves of all time
I sold a product that taught some of the principles from this book to startups (among other things)
Oh, interesting 🤔 I’m revisiting this one again. Lots of good insights
Oh yes, I've read Cialdini several times. Actually, you made me dust it off for a refresher. Look at those gems of chapters:
1. Weapons of influence.
2. Reciprocation: The old give and take... and take.
3. Commitment and consistency: Hobgoblins of the mind.
4. Social proof: Truths are us.
5. Liking: The Friendly Thief.
6. Authority: Directed deference.
7. Scarcity: The rule of the few.
Nobody should try to navigate modern society without Cialdini, combined with Robert Ringer's "Winning Through Intimidation" and Kahneman's "Thinking, Fast and Slow".
I listened to the audiobook. I think about it quite a bit.
I don't want zaps to turn into Hare Krishna flowers.
Reading it right now in fact. Pretty eye opening and helpful. I’m realizing how many influence techniques have been used on me over the years. Also, helpful for tactics to better share my message with the world and get what I need.
