It is. I think part of it is that if you have a good grip you are already fairly active.

Yes. Also I have noticed things that make your grip stronger make your whole body stronger. Clubs for instance greatly increase grip strength, I would go so far to say they do so even more than hanging.
i made a whole series of clubs and gadas last spring, after seeing what you were doing, and rabbit holeing. i do some kind of swing almost every day now. and hindu squats 🤓
