GM from Malaga in Spain,

where I have been living as an exoat for seven years now and am very happy. No matter what problems we have in Europe, and they are extremely serious, as we are controlled by a cabal of central planners, socialists and parasites, the quality of life in ubs 'Europoors' is still great, especially in the Mediterranean region.

Europe is a wonderful place to live. I am not a defeatist, which is why I believe that at some point in the future there can be a cultural comeback for Europeans if we leave the Brussels functionaries behind and return to subsidiary, regional structures in order to preserve that special something, those nuances of difference. I could not imagine, like two of my best friends of the time, living in a place like Dubai, in an artificial paradise whose only rhythm and sound is circulating coin. It is this great and fatal history of the European continent, its immense blood toll, never forgetting its cruel colonial history, that casts everything in a tragic but unmistakable light.

Hi

GM Ghost

I'm one of those who had to make the unfortunate jump like your friends to this fabricated concrete jungle.

I don't want to put much negative hate energy into the situation that is already not optimal except monetarily—for now.

I think there might be a better solution back in Europe to build something and live in it. Because here, I don't feel like leaving my house at all. Even though I grew up here before moving to Europe in first place.

I don't the cold and never loved not seeing the sun for good part of the year in Germany, but that wasn't the main reason I had to leave. EU is literally stripping its citizens from their rights and their assets. That I couldn't handle.

That's all very true. I was searching for years to find places to live calmly. Crete is one of those. But You need to be able to work remote as these regions are economically dead... all too sad

Luckily that's the case, I work fully remotely.

I spent many months last year in Madeira, Portugal. It is great place–a bit isolated though. Also, a week in northern Spain seemed fine in the summer. I just didn't dig deeper in how to actually relocate there yet.

You're always welcome. Costa del Sol is great

Like you I live on the Mediterranean coast and appreciate our quality of life and European cultural values. Both under constant assault of course but we have centuries of experience resisting.

Yes indeed. Let's be optimistic

And best of all: Top food.

Yep. 5 stars Mariscos

Mmh. No idea what's wrong. But thank You and have a nice day my friend
