I don't know people here.. Please sort things out.. Nothing works since I came.. Each client different info.. No control over my profile page..posts, flw, replies.. Need to log in/out all the time..

There's no support..develops don't answer.. I can't go around asking generous people to help me.. I even may not see their answers.. Etc etc.. So frustrating so far..and I don't know how to set my relays.. I just don't know. I am just a theatre producer.. I understand your world but I don't know how to make it work.

You need to be aware of that..not coz of me but for the sake of the #nostr

This is not a comfort zone for many of us..get out of yours and think like me or anybody else who is out of your world.

We need help.

Now I had to go on other client to see answers..

Some people here already did that for me.. But no answers came.. Or I may see them on some other client lol..

I can't remember the first client I used, but it allowed me to check Jack's following and followers list, and had a "follow all" button. I did that with the ten or so biggest accounts, and that's how I got to follow 1700+ people. It is commonly said that once you follow at least 1000 accounts the TL gets interesting and engaging.

You can also do exactly the same with relays. Most clients if not all will let you see the relays someone else is using, and you can just add them. I would try not go over the top, I was using 40+ relays and it was awful. At 13-14 I think I'm in a good spot now.

On Android, Amethyst is hands down the best. On iOS, it's a mixed thing and I keep switching between Primal and Damus. On desktop, Primal and Iris.

And yes, you can log in "as" someone else with their npub (public key). In that case, you can see their TL and so on, but because you don't know their nsec (secret key) you can't post or do anything that requires signing. I think that's really cool actually.

Let me try to explain.. Once I put iris web page or app down I have to get out and log in back for to see anything.. Then.. I tried now.. I can see followers/following on some users not all.. I even don't see profiles of many users here..

I don't see who follows me but I can see sometimes whom I follow..

What I want to say is.. I have no control.. I tried to follow one user couple of times..coz I couldn't have seen whether I did it or not..

Trying not to be boring.. But it looks like I need to go on different clients in order to collect various info.. Like them all only can make full thing..

I can't find anywhere where relays of other users are possible to be seen.. That could help..

As for that I didn't figure it out at the same moment lol..

Recently I managed to get into some woman's bank account by accident..I freaked completely.. 🤣🤣

Oh pls..

May I ask you one thing..

There are 2 Private keys.. Nsec and hex.. Why? And which one should we use.. I see both work on Iris but when I go to primal it asks nsec..

You can use someone else's pub key to see what they'd see, but you wouldn't be able to post unless you have their private key, so don't panic!

I read everything on github..and around.. Actually.. About setting up relays not a word.. 8-13...and that you can add/remove others..

I tried random add/remove nothing happens.. I have no idea which ones I should use.. How one chooses them.. 😔

Maybe think of relays in terms of radio stations. Content creators send their content to them and they broadcast it to many people afterwards. Other syndicated stations pick up the original content but not all of them.

So it depends on to which relay you send your content to and from which relay you read other peoples content.

Looking at the relays other people use is a good starting point to find out what is actually going on.

Maybe I even don't know how to ask a proper question.. It must be smthng about relays..

You can see the relays you use here. You can add and remove relays.

I don't use Iris, so I have no idea on how to see other peoples relays there.

In https://coracle.social client, you can see the relays a user is using in his profile.

Yes I know..and I did try many many times to add/remove random ones as they don't mean a thing to me.. But nothing helped..

I may try oracle.. Just afraid.. Smbdy wrote somewhere that you have to sort relays on one client and then too use other clients.. Maybe I made a mess..
