#asknostr ok so i had a good harvest of red plums this year. Ive been making lots of fruit leather so far. But now there is too much to process. Peak ripeness. So i decided to throw it in a pot and make plum sauce and just strain out the skins and pits. Anyone have recommendations on what to do with this? Cook down further, make jam, freeze, can, or just make more leather? #homesteading #garden #gardening

Jam/jelly is always a good idea if you know how to can stuff

Fruit leather? What do you mean?

Blend the fruit up often with a ripe banana. Pour it on parchment paper and dehydrate. Its like fruit roll ups...

Super interested in recipes like this, thank you

I just made jam, and canned it.

I made plum wine this year, I am not a big drinker but, it’s nice to have on hand when we have company
