Isn’t primal doing the same with the wallet on iOS? I don’t have it so I am just asking 🐶🐾🫡
To use the built in Primal wallet it asks for some info but nothing is verified besides email address, at least when I tired it.
No you can enter fake info
Lure them in with the ad share and then shotgun kyc to keep the income going. Beautiful
💯
Unpopular opinion:
Nostr, at the moment, is the BIGGEST echo chamber with a SUPER niche user base on a platform that is so foreign to normies its chances for growth are about the same as 8 billion people using on chain bitcoin for basic everyday payments.
The tech is hot. The UI is warm. The UX is ice cold.
Lot of work to be done.
People gonna KYC themselves to recieve Doge as payouts and still use it
#fuckelon
Seems Elon is getting nervous about the financials, realizing he can’t get *his* ideas implemented without centralized control, struggling with removing the bots, responding to the lingering effects of Choke Point 2.0, or even some variation of all of the above.
Israeli company takes care of the data.
Surprising?
Not at all.
Another step towards total censorship.

It will keep getting worse for sure

Surprising to me they could do payouts at all before without verifying an identity. Anyone know how this worked?
Not sure but seems to be the direction everything is going recently. I believe it was only within the last couple of years that online marketplaces like eBay and Amazon started requiring ID for sellers. Before that you had to verify your bank account info (and of course the bank’s ID’d you), but didn’t have to verify government identity with the marketplaces themselves.
ahh... OpenAI needs more data for its newest model which will be used comercially to better fit ads to the user...
edit - just checked that Musk has cut off OpenAI from Twitter's data, so the above is unlikely. But maybe for Musk's own model?
Actually I wouldn't be suprised if Musk were to create an app similar to WeChat - combining messaging, social media, payments etc.
Anybody still on that platform is a hypocrite.
No, you are not a cypherpunk if you enable the scammers.
Trust in the value of your message. The more you contribute to a rotten company the longer the inevitable downfall.
Leave and let mediocre content run itself into the ground.
If this how X is trying to solve their spambots problem?
Or are they just striving to KYC their users,
The more the better?
