absolutely true, sense of requirement brings the best of us and pushes us to create better things every day.
by creating just for the idea of creating, you get beautiful ideas, but reliability comes much later.

After few days of coding, reading through docs and banging my head - finally finished setting up my new NixOS. Rice'd it up a little, with a simplistic yet elegant (imo) style.
I must say - I'm proud of myself :)
But people on the internet, confident by the mask they have in form of their profile, love clinging to the extremes, basically forgetting about existance of the between.
There are extremes. Always will be. But we can't define the general population by only viewing the extremes.
Day 1 of installing a new Linux distro - Done ✅
I'm switching to NixOS, would love to run it with Hyprland, but there are some problems with GPU I need to conquer.
Already done:
- basic GNOME configuratuion
- shell setup (zsh) with simple scripts
- learned basics of NixOS: temp shell enviroments, managing packages, generations
To do:
- understand and configure flakes
- finish fighting with Nvidia drivers
- setup Hyprland
Looks amazing! But are the names on the machines jus random or do they have some connection? They all look completely different IRL, that's why I'm asking.
edit - just checked that Musk has cut off OpenAI from Twitter's data, so the above is unlikely. But maybe for Musk's own model?
Actually I wouldn't be suprised if Musk were to create an app similar to WeChat - combining messaging, social media, payments etc.

ahh... OpenAI needs more data for its newest model which will be used comercially to better fit ads to the user...
I'd love to see them as enamel pins, especially the NFC Tag and Genesis Block. Those two would be ideal for that.
