I don't know who needs to hear this in the UK.
BUT.
Forcing young girls to dress like this for 5 days a week is fucking depraved.
DEPRAVED.
Shame, shame, shame.
Wake the fuck up.

Honestly, what do you mean? In Switzerland, we don’t have mandatory school uniforms. But what’s so bad about them? They look smart and stop those unnecessary, overpriced fashion contests in the schoolyard. Change my mind. 🤷🏻♂️❓
Trust me they are dressed very modestly for British girls 🤣
Whoa wtf. I can't believe this is real 🤯
Honestly confused, this looks just like the school uniform that I had to wear when I was in school and we all found it unfashionable and ugly
Why do you say it’s depraved? What am I missing?
The skirts seem pretty short to me. Just seems odd, but I've never been to or near a school with a uniform either.
Whatever young girls would wear as a school uniform would eventually become the target of sexualization by porn productions, and that’s the real issue that we need to address #postingtwicecausefuckingprimal
Agreed that porn is bad 🤙
not just porn, but the sexualization via concern that OP is demonstrating.
But what’s the root cause of this concern? Isn’t it the association of seeing such uniforms often depicted in porn / hentais?
OP does not recognize their own agency in perceiving people sexually. that's the root: OP's visual cortex and accompanying brain function.
but then, fearing the moment of sexualizing someone outside OP's understanding of social acceptability, they project the source of that sexualization onto clothing/others/institutions.
the appropriate thing, then, would be to accept rote brain functioning for what it is, recognize that you are in no way beholden to do anything about this passing stimulus, and then actually protect young people from predators, rather than reposting pictures you deem VERY DEPRAVED.
There are countries with no school uniforms and what's appropriate and what's showing too much legs is also very varied between cultures.
In Iran people would compare these girls to prostitutes while in Brazil people would pity them for the long socks and closed shoes that are much too hot for their climate.
Women in Iran used to wear mini skirts out in public back in the1970s
Also, the temperature can get as hot in Iran as it does in Brazil
Iran is hotter than Brazil but also drier. I've been there and experienced 42°C. http://iran.leowandersleb.de/ if you are curious.
Still, I'm pretty sure that's how people in Iran and Brazil would think of this picture if they assumed it was taken in their respective country.
So why do think that people in the northern west hemisphere are interpreting this level of leg showing as depravity?
If my daughter chose to dress like this, I'd probably have no problem with it but if she hated the tie and felt insecure in anything but trousers, I'd hate to send her to an institution that forced this stuff on her.
Oki thanks for the personal input,
If skirts were a mandatory part of their uniform, that would be an infringement on their human rights, and I hope that there’s no such rules at any schools
But finding the root cause for this interpretation of ‘depravity’ is what makes me most curious
Sorry but I don’t see anything wrong here
Are they really being forced, or just pushing the boundaries (up) of a more tame uniform (eg wear a black skirt and white shirt). Uniforms are retarded but my experience at school was girls being told off for how short the skirts were. Maybe just being forced to wear more clothes if anything 😅
Are feelings about what's appropriate to wear uniform among all girls? If this is the uniform, all get forced to use it. The individual has no say.
The young women in the photo at seem happy and normal
School uniforms are of course not what they think about every day but in many schools around the world, if a girl doesn't like a mini skirt and would feel saver in trousers, she's not allowed to go to school in trousers.
The kids see it as fitting in. And have been programmed to think that way by celebrities. The same celebrities being platformed to manipulate the masses at the ballot box. Like Taylor Swift, Beyoncé.. yada yada. Parents allowing the abuse to happen are the real issue. They have fully developed brains and have the ability to get societal issues like this under control. But they’re also living in a state of fear of not fitting in too via the same type of programming. The parents are so scared of not fitting in they pretend that this abuse is normal. And are probably consistently in the doctors office dosing up on medication that helps them stay ‘pretending’ and ‘fitting in’ Mental wellness is on the decline. Suicides are up. All in the name of fitting in.
Similar to when wearing a mask 😷 was considered fitting in and safe.
