I just find it insane that someone would look at this chart and think everything is alright.

This is the kind of chart that is shown to explain what exponential growth is, in stuff that usually behaves exponentially like you know explosions, crashes, etc, etc.
People don't care and they'll suffer the consequences of not caring.

There might be no clean way out. Kick the can down the road or recession. Or maybe try to offset the debt with an overperforming asset
