Enter Sandman hooked me on music when I was 10.

Before I heard it on the radio music was just background noise. Pleasant but nothing special. This song caused me to seek out the album, and then explore the genre, and then explore adjacent genres. I couldn't get enough.

Master of puppets was my first cassette 😂

That was my second cassette, after the black album 🤝

I don’t feel like songs have changed my life. They are more like time machines that transport me back to moments in my life. It’s like they resurrect the ghosts of the lives I have lived. The people and places I have shared experiences with. The experiences that have changed and shaped me.
