In 1992 McDonald’s began frying its food in seed oils.

Just sayin’

Something about correlation and causation... 🤔

along with all the other processed BS they are pushing now. Max describes it well at this hearing.

What had they use before ?

I think beef tallow

Beef tallow

I wonder why they had to wait till the 90’s

Bruh the obesity shit is BC food is cheap and delicious

You think that wasn’t true in 1990?

I think it was less true. Actually, no I'd say equally true

maybe its a cumulative thing, like the longer we have access to cheap delicious food the fatter we'll get

very interesting thanks for sharing

I don’t think this can be blamed on vegetable oil. Over the past 30 years, the food industry has focused on maximizing profits. To increase consumption, they’ve employed the most astonishing tricks, like adding sugar to meats. We don’t even know if the increase in fast food chains over the last 30 years is proportional to the growth of the population. Then there’s GMO grain, etc… They’re feeding us garbage. That’s it.

You’re not wrong but I think seed oils are a big part of the story. They’re literally in everything. Not an exaggeration.

Moreover, the way the oil is produced. Whether it’s pressed or chemically refined...

💯 correct

Same thing can be said, about LED light. It's everywhere. It's not a food story

I was wondering about the sugar in high quality salami and all sorts of Wurst. A farmer explained to me that adding dextrose to meat products is done when the slaughtered animals can't be processed fast enough. The sugar stops the meat from deteriorating until it's in its final form and ready to be send to the market.

That's true. A minimum amount of sugar added to meat is necessary because it is the primary resource for all the bacteria. Therefore it will be decomposed by the time. (in brief)

you may want to read a few books on this.

Read "Grain Brain" and most importantly "The Ancestral Diet Revolution: How Vegetable Oils and Processed Foods Destroy Our Health - and How to Recover!"

These two books will lead you to another 12 books with 1000s of facts, figures, and history.

It's important to understand no one yet knows exactly how every human body works - but we have a LOT of data and experience to know what does work for most people. And it's nothing like what your Doctor or Government are telling you.

You will definitely change your mind.

I've been practicing >10 yrs to live without these shits. Avoid eating bread and grains, not to drink milk and sugar added drinks/foods, minimized having processed food. To achieve this in Europe is somewhat easier than in US I think thanks to more strictly regulated food related rules. Still... Anyway the point is that you have to know all these about for you have a chance to live healthier. And of course to discuss about freely.... by nostr 😉

Absolutely. 5 years ago I still had cancer, high blood pressure, Triglycerides through roof, fat as f@@k.

I got rid of all pills, lost 100lbs, cancer GONE (Oncologist told me you can't fix cancer with diet). I use a service, functionhealth, that tests my blood every six months w/over 100 blood test and my metabolic age is 44 (I'm 62). I feel younger.

What did I do? Meat based diet, fast 40hrs/week Sunday night to Tuesday noon. Cut out ALL seed oils (takes YEARS to get them out of system). Virtually eliminate sugar, wheat (both poison). Eat AS MUCH GRASS FED meat, ONLY pasture eggs (be careful, marketers lie), as I want. Limit veggies but we eat them - organic ONLY. Fruit is sugar, eliminate fruit except for very limited berries. I will sneak in a glass of wine (absolutely no other alcohol) and a HU chocolate square from time to time! As time has gone on, I'm slowly gettting away from that.

Grats bro! I honestly happy for your success, mainly with that horrible thing like cancer.

It was a sort of revelation to me as well discovering it is possible to change without any serious pain. Despite I've been doing sports from my childhood I eat unconsciousness and had symptoms like returning diarrhea but lived with as like it would be normal. Later after changed I realized I have lactose and gluten intolerance because it's all gone. So it is really important to know all about and being conscious. If something hard a little to find suppliers of clean food. Mainly if you travel across countries.

Oh - I do drink milk and eat cheese too. But try to find grass fed.

Tallow and grass fed butter for cooking in cast iron pans - we humans need LOTS of fat to stay skinny! I know, it's totally opposite from what the WORLD tells you if you live in the USA!

They’re trying to kill us, or better yet make us sick and hooked on healthcare (sickcare).

From day 1 with infant vaccines

Yes agreed

Very sad. At the end of the day it is all about money and power no matter the colateral damage. Fix the money to fix the world. 🫡

Lol. Now do high fructose corn syrup!

Colorado 🤔

It’s easier to get drugs in America then it is to get fries cooked in tallow. Sad!

As corny as it is to say, I have not eaten a single thing from McDonald's since I saw Super Size Me, circa 2010.

Also rarely eat "fast food" (Chik-fil-a, Hardees, etc) (maybe 4-6 times a year) because it's all garbage. Probably do more "fast casual" than I should. Eating out at restaurants is my downfall.
