It’s not that simple. Who releases them? How credible is the release? How do we know it hasn’t been edited? A lot of questions would still arise so many people wouldn’t care as much as you think

There's a lot of info out there. There's a lot of people you'll know and half you won't. We have a lot of speculation about who did what, this is what everyone wants. But I think a lot of people wouldn't believe it if they were told.
This is an important point, something I've seen as well from the UFO world where I think it's also obvious the government is hiding things.
The truth is never just one "big score", one "client list" or whatever. It's pieces of information, some big and some little, that get woven together into a complete story.
You need real journalism (probably done by *gasp* real journalists) to go and validate sources, cross-reference facts, do the digging to get a complete picture.
MAGA seems to care a lot about this, and it's good that they're holding Trump's feet to the fire about it. But I'm not sure of how many.... *Ahem* "analytical minds" they have to do this work.
