Anybody shocked by BTC fees with #Fold? On 11/2 I bought $10 and got almost $9 into my wallet. Yesterday I bought $10 and got $1 into my wallet. Now I'm wondering what the actual fuq is going on.

Fold apparently isn’t covering the miner fee anymore, so you’re paying the miner to process your transaction. Unfortunately, mining fees are insanely high right now as a result of ordinal/inscription/fiat-gainz nonsense.

Yeah inscriptions can change shit quick. It has been it died down for awhile but now ordi coin thingy got listed on binance i guess? So its resparked interest in it again so they are back minting away

Fold stopped paying the miner fee when they brought back Bitcoin buying recently; on-chain fees can rise and fall pretty quickly, especially over the span of a few days.

Yeah I bought some the day I got the announcement it came back and that's the difference I noticed against yesterday. Not the policy specifically but the difference between 10% fee vs 90% fee for two identical transfer withing one week.
