Is it ironic that the people who care about mass immigration don't care about invasive species, and vice versa?

From what I have seen most immigrants, while still susceptible to leftwing propaganda, start off far more conservative than most native westerners. I think if there was a conscious effort to reach them with a sane conservative message the entire idea of importing people to serve the left would backfire.
