Omg - I found a 2.5m snake skin hanging off our deck with a huge freaking snake turd.
It took a dump halfway through the shedding.
There are no coincidences 🤔
Cigarette Lighter for scale - the tip of the tail fell off as I took it down.

Pretty sure it lives in the roof cavity through winter.
