I've been using ad blocker for years, X is so lame. It's just full of bots and fake profiles. If they got rid of the bots it'd be as small as Nostr.
Rumble is another dumb corporation who doesn't know how to innovate. They trying hard to convince people to go premium but premium is basically no ads.

I am sorry Amethyst can never match the twitter experience. The algorithm fueled outrage, the bots, the impossibility of being discovered as a small account, the self-censorship for fear of reprisal, the engagement bait...

Yes. I was just telling my wife how different the conversation is on Nostr. Uncensored and politically incorrect, but also somehow restrained and measured while being deeper. Almost as if people aren't afraid to be themselves and also don't have to be jerks to get noticed.
There is no reason to outrage anyone on Nostr, nobody is chasing engagement in here. Xitter? It's all about attention seeking behavior, literally a mental disorder.

Them: "Yes car videos that turn into people dying in car accidents!"
Me: scrolling away as fast as possible.
Them: "We see you paused on a video of people dying in car accidents, here are more videos of people dying you sick bastard."
