You're right, but complaining doesn't help. Everyone has the task of accompanying their children outside of school and explaining how things work. Currently you will have problems with homeschooling in Germany.
The next problem will be the following. In many families, both parents work. The money is broken and many have no other choice. This drives children back into the hands of state schools.

my son was home schooled until high school. wanted to get a good foundation in place before he was fed the indoctrination bullshit to hate the US and actually get an education that matched his abilities. when he did enter public school he was way ahead of his age group and ended up taking advanced classes. then scored in the top 1% on his SAT and ACT, and now is a lawyer at a top firm in NYC.

When you homeschool you take away the entire child/teen world. Kids relationships are more complex than people imagine, they have a whole self world. When you took this from them, you steel their love, friendship, frustration, social skills and much more. Kids need a space of development away from home. Also, they need a strong support and learning environment at home.

Everytime i hear stupid things like these, I ask myself “are bitcoiners really that stupid?” The problem is that the next question is “but it’s not that i don’t understand anything about bitcoin and it is stupid too?”. I think it’s great that families homeschool, still not everyone has this opportunity. Therefore, we cannot ignore/overlook the families and communities that must send their kids to public school. This is why it’s time to discuss building a new system above the current model. Not reform. I’ve been writing about this and here are the main components:
Decentralized- no admin, parents and educators choose each other based on values (via an app of some sort where educators post their bios, philosophies, published works etc)
Cohorts of educators working with cohorts of scholars only (no single teacher trapped in a room with kids all day)
Geodesic domes as opposed to boxy uninspiring interiors
Hybrid indoor/outdoor learning and majority of time spent on learning fundamentals like health, exercise and skill practice habits

whoever your God is, is who you want your children to be educated under. For many, their God is the State. They cannot even imagine a world without it. In fact they get defensive and even angry when you question their belief in the State, like all religious people do when their religious beliefs are attacked.
