Every time I think about trying to build something on Nostr, something holds me back. Sometimes it’s internal, sometimes it’s external.
Discussion
Keep pushing, if it keeps coming up maybe there is something there that needs to be built..
Some times you just need to put the first brick down
What sort of stuff do you want to make?
You should be proud on all you already did, history will have your name show up.
When external take a break to come to yourself
You got this cat💜
You miss every shot you don’t take.
Michael Jordan or Wayne Gretzky? One of the two. I have a hard time finishing things. Was a bit of a quitter for many years in my youth, usually because I was not willing to put in the work, lacked confidence in myself, or thought it would fail.
Now, when I look back the most important things I have in my life are the things I worked at, never gave up on, and were the most difficult.💜🫂
Feel this. That hump is hard to get over for me too. Not just with Nostr.
"Eh someone has already done it."
"No one would use it anyway."
...
Hard to get through those mental barriers.
This.
I find talking out the idea with someone gives me a little push of enthusiasm and accountability to get over that hump. Usually someone not even in the space (like my fiance, friends, family, etc.)

I try to counter this mindset by just pumping out MVPs. Don’t spend too much time building something new, just throw it out there and see if there’s any interest. Then you can focus your time on building the winners.
Do you want to build from scratch? If not, I'll take any help I can 😬

What would an DVM look like for a decentralized knowledge base?
