Yea nothing needs to get personal. But it’s ok for there to be strong opinions on each side, and that’s what I’ve seen from what I’ve been about to follow. It’s clear Nostr is at a very early stage regarding NIP94/95. It was good that Vitor added the option to choose your image upload method. But the warning feels pretty overkill and the average user is naturally going to select the “secure” option instead of the “insecure” option. But then they are surprised to learn their images aren’t viewable on other clients or they even get deleted from relays. That’s an unacceptable user experience.
