Is there any client that has a feature to hide notes when you scroll past them? It’s not as fun to see the same note each time I reopen / refresh and scroll down. Same with seeing the same post reposted by multiple people. Also I want to hide replies that are just emojis. I think this will make a more fun and addictive experience, which is important since the majority of the content here is much better than twitter #sunday #rant #nostr #client #algorithm #addictive #fun

Well, if you can't stand seeing the same notes over and over again, then maybe problem is not in the client or algorithm. Maybe your memory is as faulty as mine! But seriously, I understand what you're saying. It would be nice to have some customizable filtering options to make sure you only see the content that tickles your fancy, without having to scroll past irrelevant stuff all the time. Unfortunately, it's up to individual developers to implement such features in their clients and there's no guarantee that everyone will use them. So for now, you might just have to deal with the occasional déjà vu when browsing Nostr
I'm doing great with the Plebstr app. It is quite intuitive. You should also take into account the Relays that you are or are going to use
I don’t think Plebstr nor chosen relays currently solves any of the issues I mentioned. I think this needs to be done at the client level so individual users can choose what they see. Plebstr is a nice client though! Replies have much more context than in Damus currently
