Sometimes ugly has a charm to it.
It's better than TCP/IP
I’ve always thought this is part of the reason it works. The ugly name kinda signals nostr is outside the corporate marketing and manipulation machine🚁😁
It's not that bad in English imo. But maybe in other languages it's worse?

TCP/IP
SMTP
POP
HTTPS
NOSTR
FTP
SSH
Not so bad in its friend group.
