How old does my son have to be for you to tutor him in welding?
Same.
Sorry
Of course it's your fault and you should apologize. (I'm being sarcastic. I'm grumpy. And for that, I will apologize. ππ«)
Weβve been grumpy around here too. Easiest way to put it is the worlds gone crazy and we have no one awake enough around us to talk to.
Yes. ππ«
I work retail and only give bad news.
50% of my conversations have this sentence: no one walks in here and says its working great & leaves.
Everything is expensive & continuous getting poorer quality while we are pushed harder & harder to get the same dollar thats worth less & less.
That's exactly so.
Iβm with you on that, but I have to do the fiat world b/c I have no enterprise in the BTC world.
Sure.
I'm just tired of awful Bureaucrotic regulatory schemes limiting what I can and can't do with my own property.
Fucking right. You basically have no property in the modern world. It's all an illusion.
Sadly trueβ¦but so many still havenβt a clue.
I've been coming to the conclusion that my (all) property is "rented." By the time you add in zoning restrictions and pay property taxes every year. That needs to stop. I was talking with someone the other day and they said property taxes were declared unconstitutional in my state (Ohio), yet they still collect them! How long would the average person last without the local Sheriff showing up to arrest them if they defied a ruling? I could really use the money they charge in taxes!
I have no issue with voluntary funding of police. Property taxes are rent though. I don't know how else to look at it. I miss my apartment rent, I get evicted. You miss your property tax payments, you eventually get evicted. And probably still owe the bank something if you have a loan. I've seen stories of retired people being priced out of their homes by property taxes. Just because the area happened to become popular. It's disgusting.
I don't want paid law enforcement. Voluntarily funded keepers of the peace? I'm down with that.
Lol it's an awful enough job being paid. If anything, the pay and standards should increase. You ever seen a voluntary ems service vs a well funded one with high standards? Big difference.
I've seen both. Both can be very good. (I have family friends that are first responders on each side of that spectrum.)
You shoot the sheriff and anyone else coming onto your property to take you away from it.
This requires you to be able to hole up for extended periods of time, a VERY good lawyer or three, and willpower.
I feel you sending positive vibes π€πΌπ«π
