I know that prions are fairly common in nature, cannot be destroyed by cooking, can hop from species to species, can be picked up from shed protein long after being shed and kill you after making you grump and then insane. It's like an evil, alien bio-weapon that serves no function. It's the biological equivalent of Bostrom's apocolyptic paperclip universe problem only it just focuses on protein and making more of its self from proteins it encounters

You've just revealed several rabbit holes.

I'll get back to you in a week or so 😳

It's dark in the prion warren.

I have a torch

Holy shit that's a bright flashlight (the correct term for it)

You damn Yanks with your foreign English πŸ˜‚

Like your civilization (with a 'z') we also improved your language. You're welcome.

We aren't allowed to carry torches in USA 🀣

😳

Z is not a real letter unless you're visiting a Zoo.

Even xylophones went out of their way to avoid using that letter πŸ˜‚

Also, it's pronounced Zed, not Zee

What's nice about you is that we will always have something to discuss. I treasure your acquaintence.

πŸ«‚ πŸ’―

But Mike, the letter W starts with a D

And ends with a ewe

What a smoothy.

Sheep smoothie?

I'll stick with mixed berry smoothies thanks

New Idea, ground sheep meat in a ceramic cup cooked in a stone fire grill that you eat with a spoon like mousse

Tell me when I get really annoying! πŸ˜‚

Eat a moose with a spoon?

Moose Candy: Meeses Pieces.

πŸ˜‚

You've never tried a lamb smoothy? Really?

It's absolutely disgusting.

Pairs well with mint 🐏

And F started with an E ... Eff πŸ˜†

It's all very very wrong 😡

πŸ˜„

πŸ˜‚

Come to think of it, many letters are confused.

That's because it's a "double U"

But they look like Vs.. VV double v's

Phonetically, should be wubblevee

In Spanish they do call W double V which makes a lot of sense

Yeah! doble veh

In German "W" = V sound

It could be due to the "W" being written as a double "U" in the early days of the English language or less probably was named based on cursive writing.

😳 well that’s pretty disturbing…

youre welcome
