"We have to destroy them before they destroy us" is the justification for every unjust war.

It's like the Dark Forest Theory in Three Body Problem.

It might actually be purely logical behaviour, as disgusting as that may be.

What about "We have to destroy them after they have actively fired rockets at us from 4 different fronts (Lebanon, Gaza, Yemen & Iran itself) and have started rushing to a nuclear bomb to turn their theocratic regime immune to attacks on their own soil"?

You're all talking about it as if it's a theoretical war that we can choose whether to start or not.

Iran started this war. It was their (illogical) choice.

Exactly! I try to explain this to people but they just dont get it. It's not a theoretical war, Iran started it by simply existing. If we wipe out Iran (yes that includes all Iranians) then we will finally be safe ✌️

Iran did not start it by existing. It started it by shooting missiles at my country in the name of Islamic solidarity with Hamas & Palestinians. It started it by chanting "Death to Israel" on every occasion.

Of course I'm not talking about the average Persian guy who couldn't care less about the Arabs' wars. But the Iranian regime started this war. FAFO.

Any war against Islamist is just

Agreed, fear is your worst advisor.

They can use this excuse to slaughter any country and any people in order to obtain the real interests behind what they want. But this sentence will only work for compromising and weak countries. For those countries that can fight to the end for the survival rights of their future countries and people, this sentence is shit.

Are all wars unjust? Can you name a just war?
