Lately when I click to delete messages on Gmail the interface acts as if they were deleted but when I reload the page the messages are still there.
Gmail is pretty successful, so maybe that's the normie UX we're missing for Nostr to be successful.

Just rewrite the email protocol onto nostr. NIP-05 could be the future of email addresses 😆
If your deletes aren't working just throw away the computer. Problem solved.
I don't use Gmail. It's terrible because it's from Google.
What do you use instead?
I run my own email domain, and use protonmail too. Proton needs to get their act together they got too many domains & weird domains, protonmail takes me to proton . me
They need to rebran or buy the proton . com domain
outlook sucks too,
I think eventually I'll just use my own domain and ditch everything.

If you look at frontend code the delete button's function call is actually moveToGovernmentSurveilanceFolder()
In fact when you click del you dont delete nothing in digital world, you only ask not see it.
In a contradictory way, erasing implies writing.
