1) This was always going to happen
2) Separation of Money and State does not mean the death of the state

4) The state buying Bitcoin is not the state controlling Bitcoin. It is them bending knee to us and agreeing to the same rule set we have already agreed to. Even if they don’t yet see it that way.

Actually the State buying Bitcoin is it also controlling BTC because it keeps it in the reserve and does not sell or transfer it, which means that BTC is effectively being burned as it is not used.
They can control the part of the asset they own but they cannot control the network.

When they hold and buy bitcoin they are making a zero to one step of separating they themselves from state issued money. Sacks gets Bitcoin so much so that he has announced the dumping of his buddy’s shitcoins. I called Sacks out publicly a few times and he made me look dumb. RESPECT. He did the work and believes in the purchasing power NGU technology believe it or not.
It would be unrealistic to expect to live peacefully within a state that was adversarial to how you want to store your time and energy. Living anonymously in another country was a real consideration with the last administration. There has been no separation between state and currency. They simply keep the ₿ they had seized and don't sell them. But I don't think Trump said he replaces ₿ for the dollar. In any case, Europe is a dying empire! But the United States with such a public debt does not seem to me an empire that is really good. You have to print print and still print. You are also a house of cards unfortunately
If the Government of the USA is not optimizing and advancing a NON KYC P2P bitcoin network (Bitcoin investment distributed into the hands of as many citizens as efficiently as possible), then they are not serving the people (doing their job).
Seems less about the government owning Bitcoin (reserve) and more How the government acquires the Bitcoin.
The government must not be permitted or incentivized to perpetrate violence against individuals and/ or private property rights In Order to acquire bitcoin.
Therefore, the Government must not rely on theft, coercion and/or entrapment of individuals into situations of civil asset forfeiture or confiscation.
Citizens of the United States of America should expect nothing less than the leadership and innovation demonstrated by Bhutan(energy/mining).

Bitcoin is a game of incentives, and governments, just like individuals and corporations, are bound by them. The sbr isn’t about “want” or “approval”. It is inevitable.
If Bitcoin were failing, nation-states wouldn’t even bother. The fact that they are now forced to take it seriously confirms what we’ve known all along:

The separation of money and state was never about preventing governments from holding Bitcoin. In fact it is about stripping them of their monopoly on money creation.
